At Bee Haven we offer an evening for families to meet the teachers as well as connect with other parents and have an opportunity to tour the facility. It is an evening where teachers and leaders briefly discuss the classrooms and the child centred inspired format of our programs.
An orientation night will be held in August and all the families will be notified by email of date and time.
Free parent education nights are held on a regular basis and are an opportunity to learn and meet with other parents from the centre
Gradual EntryThe first days in a new childcare setting are important to children's feelings of security and acceptance, whether they have had previous social experiences or not.
When separation is handled well, it will help both you and your child to adjust to this new environment and experiences.
We advocate this entry process for all children at the childcare setting to make this an easy and positive transition for everyone.
The process is conducted through the first week at the childcare setting. The schedule is increased by a half an hour each day through the week. If your child requires a longer period of adjustment, please contact the class teacher and we will make arrangements for a more suitable entry.
